Samsung SyncMaster PX2370

Samsung SyncMaster PX2370

Samsung is known for dishing out affordable, yet quality monitors and TVs. And PX2370 is another fine addition to Samsung's ever growing domain.

PX2370 sports 1,920 x 1,080 full HD resolution at 23-inch thin screen. Yes, PX2370 is really thin. It will fit any place perfectly. It's only 18mm thick.

Let's begin with form factor, shall we? PX2370 looks very clean. I like especially the back side of monitor. It's simple, clean, and aesthetically pleasing to eyes.

As far as colors go, it's Samsung. You know, it's bright and rich in colors but not very accurate. If you use this monitor primarily games and movies, it won't matter much. But if your job is graphic-related, please look somewhere else. If you're a graphic-related, you probably wouldn't search for low-end market.

Unlike P2770, this one has physical buttons on the back of monitor that's easily reachable. You'll find regular stuff there.

One thing I don't like about PX2370, it wobbles in all 4 direction when you push the monitor. The neck is very, very weak. If you don't move it a lot, you're probably okay with it. But it will definitely bother many of us. When you try to change the setting, it wobbles. When you try to adjust it, it wobbles.

2ms response rate and 5,000,000 dynamic contrast ratio is certainly good for any situation. Again, if you're gamer it's a blessing.

The bottom line is, unless you're graphic designer, PX2370 is a good, affordable monitor for anybody out there.
